UMC EMS has proudly served the City of Lubbock and the surrounding areas since 1975. For 50 years, we’ve remained dedicated to the health and safety of our community, continually enhancing our systems and processes to provide the best care possible.

Our EMS System is designed with a patient-focused and customer-centered perspective. Research shows that an EMS System involves more than the common perception of emergency ambulance and first responder services. It incorporates community outreach, medical and system direction and oversight, in addition to clinically sophisticated, evidence-based response and emergency transportation. We ensure the allocation of these resources are directed to provide the greatest benefit to our patients and the community we serve.
