UMC EMS provides specialized EMS standby resources for events throughout the South Plains region and is the exclusive provider of EMS special event coverage for Texas Tech University Athletic events. Services include ambulance stand-by coverage for guests, fans and players; staffing first-aid stations and on-foot venue response teams. In addition, command and communications center personnel, highly trained in Incident Command System and the National Incident Management System, provide medical coordination and oversight.
